CERTIFICATES

The feed mill of ACOREX group was created in March 2004, its main activity is the manufacture and marketing of compound feed. All activities in this organization are focused on providing the best in quality and food safety in our products, while respecting the environment in the development of such activities. To this end, in the feed mill of ACOREX, we have, since March 2008, an Integrated System in Quality Management and Environment, certified by the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) and an APPCC Plan that support us in quality and food safety.

QUALITY CONTROL

In order to ensure quality and safety in our products, in the feed mill of ACOREX quality checks are performed throughout the whole manufacturing process from the receipt of raw materials to the shipping of the product.

Quality control of raw material:

At the reception of the raw material three types of analysisare made:

• ORGANOLEPTIC ANALYSIS:

  An inspection of the raw material is carried out using the sense organs. It is made by the Head of the Reception of raw materials based on his/her qualifications and experience.

• PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL ANALYSIS:
  Analysis NIR: NIR analysis is done through NIRA (Near InfraRed absorption) technology-based spectrometers, which, after calibration, result in the values of the basic analytical components of raw materials in minutes, such as protein, fat, moisture, fiber and starch, which can detect items in poor condition and the segregation of the raw material that does not meet the quality established criteria.
• Wet way Analysis:
  analysis made  by external approved subcontracted laboratories that allow us to compare the results obtained by NIRA technology.
• MICROBIOLOGICAL:
  in order to ensure food security of the received raw materials  about the presence of plant pestilizers or to identify an active substance not permitted for a particular raw material, multiresidue analysis are carried out of the raw material by external approved subcontracted laboratories

 

Quality control of the final product:

Periodically and in external laboratories, physical-chemical and microbiological analysis are performed of the finished product to ensure the quality of our products both nutritional and sanitary.

In addition to these tests, during the manufacturing process are carried out various checks to ensure they meet the physical and chemical specifications established for the product:

• Test of homogeneity of the mixture control
• Test of grind control
• Test of granule hardness

TRACEABILITY AND FOOD SAFETY:

To ensure food security in the feed mill of ACOREX  an  APPCC Plan has been established, which control the stages that allow us to prevent or eliminate a hazard and reduce it to an acceptable level, ensuring the safety of final products.

The feed mill also has a General Plan for Health, which aims to establish procedures on basic aspects of hygiene and other activities to keep under control the hazards that affect the various stages of production. The General Plan for Health consists in:

• Water Supply Control Plan
• Cleaning and disinfection Plan
• Pest Control Plan
• Maintenance of equipment and facilities Plan
• Traceability Plan
  

The traceability scheme established in the organization, aims to ensure the monitoring of the feed through all stages of the production process, including the distribution. To this end,  correspondences between the source of feed, processing and distribution are established, to be able to identify and recall the feed produced and distributed by the feed mill of ACOREX group that could pose a risk to consumer health.
